The 48th Kerala State Junior Basketball Championship (19th to 24th April 2024) concluded with a grand ceremony organized by the Palakkad District Basketball Association under the leadership of the Kerala Basketball Association. The event took place at the Yuvakshetra Institute of Management Studies (YIMS).
The President of the Kerala Basketball Association, Mr. P. J. Sunny, presided over the event. The Secretary of the Kerala Basketball Association, Mr. C. Sashidharan, and the Chief Guest, Mr. V. V. Harilal, from the Kerala Police Retired Commandant, were also present. The Director of YIMS, Rev. Dr. Mathew George Vazhayil, along with Vice Principal Rev. Dr. Joseph Olikkalkoonal, and the Secretary of the Palakkad District Basketball Association, Mr. Vineesh K., extended their best wishes.
In the final match, the girls’ category Ernakulam securing the first position and Thrissur coming in second. In the boys’ category, Thiruvananthapuram secured the first position and Thrissur District came in second.
