Computer Lab

Digitalization is an important factor for the growth of every institution. So computer labs in every higher education institution is a must. Yuvakshetra has mainly three functioning computer labs. Two are available in the Christ Hill block and one in the Administrative Block. All the computer labs are fully functional and air conditioned.
Lab 1
This computer lab is situated in the Administrative Block and is available for common use. It has 70+ computers and the lab is situated adjacent to the office. They have an attached IT team who are qualified in providing basic and necessary IT support.
Lab 2
The Two labs in the Christ Hill block are situated on the first floor above the Chapel. One lab is mostly used by the Computer Science department and has 53+ computers. The lab is used to teach the Computer Science students about the latest software’s and for the purpose of lab practical’s. There are two computers for teachers with advanced software that is used for their use and for instructional purposes.
Lab 3
The next lab adjacent to it is used for the common purpose of all the departments in Christ Hill block and has 38+ computers.
All the computer labs have white boards and projector, that can be used to teach the students. Students can use the labs for educational purposes and for accessing information. The computers are all well designed and of the latest technology. Each computer can be used separately by each student. It is open for students even after the college hours.
There are some rules to be followed before entering the lab. Lab timings are from 9:30 am- 5pm from Monday to Saturday. Entry is allowed only if the student has an identity card and silence must be maintained at all times. The entry and exit must be recorded in the lab register. Systems in the lab must be handled with care and must be shut down before leaving. Playing games, bringing CDs or pen drives, using social media sites, using software’s out of syllabus without permission is all prohibited in the lab.
