Department of Computer Science organized a Career Guidance webinar “Wings of Hope-To design your Career” Program on 09-07-2020 at 2:00-4:00 PM. During the pandemic of the corona, in the field of Education, Students are been given the right information about their higher studies and careers in various fields and an attempt is made to guide the Students and Parents in this lockdown period. The session was handled by Resource Person: Mr. Sajith Thomas, CEO & Chief Consultant(Careertestlive), Astra HR innovations Pvt Ltd,Thiruvananthapuram. Total of 250 Participants were registered from all over Kerala. Meeting platform was Google meet and got a partcipation of 165 members. Ms.Meena Jose Komban, HoD(CS),YIMS delivered the welcome speech. Rev.Dr.Mathew George Vazhayil,Director YIMS, and Dr.Tomy Antony, Principal YIMS conveyed the messages to all the Participants. The webinar was highly informative essential for the Students. The sessions were presented for higher secondary students or their parents, and Degree Students. After the presentation participants got Q&A session to clear their doubts. The college Profile was presented by Rev.Dr.Lalu Olikkal, Vice Principal,YIMS. Ms. Ramya R, Assistant Professor, YIMS had delivered the vote of thanks which marked the end of the formal session.
