The Department of Psychology Yuvakshetra Institute of Management Studies hosted a webinar on ‘Psychology of Music.’ The webinar was equipped to make students, researchers, scholars and academicians gain knowledge on Psychology of Music. The programme witnessed 1k views from people of different states across India and around the globe. Mr Jith George (HOD Dept. of Psychology), Mr Sannet Thomas (programme coordinator), Ms Athira P V(Assistant coordinator), Nikitha S Kumar(student coordinator) monitored the event.
The programme was handled by Remya Menon(2nd BSc Psychology),it started at 3pm with a brief introduction by the host and prayer by Harsha S (2nd BSc Psychology). The gathering was officially welcomed by Mr Sannet Thomas( Assistant professor, programme student coordinator). Then it was followed by a message by Fr.Shaju Angrveetil(Bursar, YIMS). Then an introduction was given by N Thamanna Shireen. At 3:20 the session started. It was conducted by Dr Durgesh Kumar Upadyay, assistant professor, Department of Psychology, Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
The session concluded around 4pm.After the doubt clearing session the vote of thanks was presented by Nikitha S Kumar (Student coordinator, 2nd BSc Psychology). The event was a huge success and extremely informative. The feedback from the participants were very encouraging.
