COVID 19 AWARENESS PROGRAMME AND DISTRIBUTION OF GUIDELINES
The Green Fan Club of YIMS Prepared a small leaflet with the necessary guideline to be followed in our daily life. This leaflet contained a brief history, precautions to be observed and also the guidelines to be followed in order to be unaffected by Covid 19. The Inauguration of the distribution of leaflet was conducted at yuvakshetra campus and Dr. Tomy Antony, the Principal inaugurated it.
The students and mentors of green fan natural club distributed the leaflets among the public students and their neighbours. on 23rd Dr. Lalu Olikkal participated in the Word Level awareness and evaluation meeting held at labour school under the leadership of Mr. Vinoop 14th ward member and distributed leaflets.
- AWARENESS CLASS FOR THE STAFF ON 19TH MARCH 2020.
Awareness classes for the staff on 19th march 2020 to separate awareness programme were conducted for non teaching and teaching staff of YIMS. Dr Lalu olikkal, Vice Principal was the resource person.
- PRODUCTION OF SANITIZERS
In order to prevent the spread of covid-19. one of the most important measure is the use of sanitizers. on 18th March 2020 professor Macy Lena Paul conductor and awareness demonstration class of the making of sanitizer. all the staff of college participated in each and the staff told that it was very useful and contextual of the spread of covid-19.
on 22nd March 2020 Lalu olikkal made and video presentation on the making of hand sanitizer.

- AWARENESS VIDEO PRESENTATION
On 19th March 2020 the women cell of IIMs prepared 1 covid-19 Awareness video and it was circulated among the staff and the students of yuvakshetra and for the use of public it was uploaded in the YouTube channel and different social medias.
- COVID 19 AWARENESS BANNER
Yuvakshetra joined hands with the Mundur grama panchayath in the covid-19 awareness programme by sponsoring awareness banners and they were placed in different populated areas of 14th word of Mundar Grama panchayath
