The Department of Computer Science, in association with the IQAC, organized a special screening of the film “The Social Network” at the Sophia Theatre on 16 December 2025. The event, titled “From Idea to Empire: An Entrepreneur’s Journey,” was designed to give students a behind-the-scenes look at the founding of Facebook and the evolution of a global digital startup.
The screening aimed to inspire the next generation of tech leaders by emphasizing that “Every Ace was Once a Beginner”. Under the coordination of Mr. Akshay Das and the leadership of HOD Ms. Meena Jose Komban, students explored the intersection of technical skill and entrepreneurial vision. The program concluded with a message of encouragement from the college directorate and principal, motivating students to transform their own ideas into impactful realities.
