The Department of Computer Science at YIMS took a strong stance against substance abuse with the screening of their student-produced short film, “Breaking Ball,” on December 9th, 2025. Directed by Ashiq Sufail and Abhijith, the film serves as a centerpiece for the department’s “SAY NO TO DRUGS. CHOOSE LIFE” campaign. Under the guidance of Program Co-ordinators Ms. Raji N and Mr. Akshay Das, the project featured a talented student cast and crew dedicated to using digital media for social impact. This initiative highlights the department’s mission to not only develop technical expertise but also to foster socially responsible citizens.
