The Department of Computer Applications, YIMS, in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), organized the AI Launchpad Workshop titled “Stop Watching AI, Start Using It” on 6 th January 2026 at 01:30 PM in Yuvachethana Hall. The session aimed to provide practical exposure to Artificial Intelligence and bridge the gap between theory and real-world applications. The workshop was led by Mr. Nihal Anas, Chief AI Officer and Co-founder, Elyst AI, Calicut, who delivered an engaging and insightful talk on AI fundamentals, emerging trends, and hands-on usage of AI tools. The programme was coordinated by Ms. Sruthi K and Ms. Malini N. The programme witnessed active student participation and successfully created awareness about the practical importance of Artificial Intelligence.
