Know Your Rights: Law, Safety and Responsibility IQAC and the Women Development Cell, in association with the PG Department of Commerce, Section B.Com CA, organized a Legal Awareness Session titled “Know Your Rights: Law, Safety and Responsibility” on 18 August 2026 at Sophia Theatre. The programme featured a Presidential Address by Dr. Tomy Antony, Principal, YIMS, followed by the felicitation by Ms. Sreeja T. S., WDC Convenor, YIMS. The inaugural address and legal awareness session were delivered by Adv. Sunil Christo, B.Com., LL.B. (Hons.), MBA, Practicing Advocate, Palakkad. The session focused on enhancing students’ awareness of their legal rights, personal safety, responsibilities, and the importance of legal knowledge in everyday life.
