The PG Department of Commerce, Bcom CA section of Yuvakshetra Institute of Management Studies (YIMS), organised an expert talk titled “Expert talk on GST” in association with IQAC on 20 January 2026 at the III Bcom CA classroom from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm; the programme
featured a welcome speech by Ms. Sreepriya CK, Assistant Professor, Bcom CA, an official message by Ms. Rajitha Rajendran R, Section Head Bcom CA, and an inaugural address by CA Pavithra B.D, resource person and practicing Chartered Accountant, delivering practical GST
insights that enriched students’ understanding of tax management and sparked lively discussions on GST implementation in business practices. The session concluded with a vote of thanks and a special token of appreciation handed over to the resource person by the Section Head, expressing gratitude for her valuable insights.
