The Department of Computer Application, in association with YIMS IIC, organized an Inter-Departmental Elocution Competition in connection with National Education Day 2025. The event aimed to enhance students’ communication skills and promote awareness on the
significance of digital literacy in the age of AI. the competition featured participants from various departments presenting speeches on the topic “The Importance of Digital Literacy in the Age of AI.” Speeches were delivered from memory within the allotted 5–7 minutes. The
participants were evaluated based on content, delivery, style, and timing. The judging panel consisted of Ms. Pameela Johnson, HoD, PG Department of English Language & Literature, and Ms. Rasmi Maniyattu, Assistant Professor, Department of Hotel Management.
