Exploring the Digital Dimension of Law: A Session on Constitution and Cyber Laws

PG Department of Commerce, Section B.Com CA, in association with the IQAC of Yuvakshetra Institute of Management Studies, organised a thought-provoking session under the certificate course on “Constitutional Rights and Governance” on October 14, 2025, at Sophia Hall from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The event commenced with a warm welcome address by Ms. K. Sangeetha, Assistant Professor, Section BCom CA, followed by an official message from Rev. Dr. Joseph Olikkalkoonal, Vice Principal, YIMS, who emphasized the importance of understanding constitutional values in today’s digital age. The session was inaugurated by Adv. Silpa R, Legal Practitioner, PSP Law Chamber, Palakkad, who delivered an insightful address on the topic “Constitution and Cyber Laws. “The session provided  valuable perspectives on the intersection of constitutional rights and cyber regulations, highlighting how digital advancements have reshaped the legal and social environment in India.  A felicitation by Ms. Rajitha Rajendran R, Section Head, BCom CA, followed, appreciating the resource person for her enlightening presentation. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Lakshmitha P.G, a student of II BCom CA, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to all dignitaries and participants for their contribution and presence.
