The Career Guidance Cell of YIMS successfully launched a coaching program titled “Competitive Exam Coaching for PG Students” on 29 September 2025, to equip postgraduate students with the necessary skills and knowledge for various competitive examinations.
The inaugural function was graced by the esteemed presence of the Principal, Dr. Tomy Antony, who officially inaugurated the program. In his address, Dr. Tomy Antony highlighted the significance of such initiatives in shaping the career trajectory of students and motivated the participants to make the most of this opportunity.
The training session was led by the dedicated Resource Person, Ms. Reshma U, PG Coordinator and Assistant Professor, PG Department of Commerce on topic “Foundations of Research Aptitude: Concepts, Methods & Applications”. Ms. Reshma U provided an overview of the coaching modules and emphasized the importance of focused preparation for achieving success in competitive exams.
The program aims to offer structured guidance and practice, ensuring that the PG students are well-prepared to face the challenges of various national and state-level recruitment and entrance examinations. The launch marked a significant step by the Career Guidance Cell towards fostering a culture of competitive excellence among its postgraduate student community.
