The Training and Placement Cell and IQAC, in association with the Section B.Com CA, Yuvakshetra Institute of Management Studies, organised a session on “Internships: Learn the Job before you get the Job” on August 22, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am at the II B.Com CA Classroom, led by Mr. Nikhil Krishna S, EA, IRS Enrolled Agent and YIMS alumnus. The programme began with a warm welcome by Ms. K. Sangeetha, Assistant Professor, Section B, B.Com CA, followed by the official message delivered by Rev. Dr. Joseph Olikkalkoonal Vice-Principal, YIMS, and the felicitation by Ms.Rajitha Rajendran R, Section Head, B.Com CA, and concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Mr. Athul Dinesh Student of II BCOM CA. The programme highlighted the importance of internships in bridging the gap between academics and industry, equipping students with practical experience, job readiness, and enhanced placement opportunities, while reflecting YIMS’s commitment to preparing students for successful careers.
