ABOUT THE PLANT |
The jackfruit tree, scientifically known as Artocarpus heterophyllus, is a tropical tree native to South Asia. It’s a large tree that can grow up to 80 feet (24 meters) tall and has a dense, spreading canopy. The leaves are dark green, glossy, and can vary in shape, which is why the species name “heterophyllus” means “different leaves.” |
