“Snehotsavam†is a popular & remarkable programme conducted by Yuvakshetra annually to express the institution’s concern for the less fortunate sections of our society. This year the programme was held on Saturday, 12 November 2016 at the Symphony Auditorium
Over 17 homes for orphans, physically, mentally challenged &senior citizens were invited to participate in the programme & display their talents & creativity in various areas. For about 4 hours the inmates of the various homes presented dances, songs, skits and various other items of entertainment to the students & staff of the college. They were given prizes for every items that they presented.
Ms.Santhakumari, President of Palakkad District Panchayat had inaugurated the programme. Mr.Tomy Antony,Principal presided over the function,The Director ,Rev. Fr. Cherian Anjilimoottil gave the welcome speech. Block Panchayath, Health Department, Chairperson Ms. Minimol,Block Panchayath,Development Department Chairman Mr. P.Lakshmanan, Block Panchayath president Ms. Bindu , Vice Principal Rev. Fr. Dr. Lalu Olikkal , Asst. Director Rev. Fr. Livin Chungath offered felicitations.
