YIMS observed the International AIDS Day and conducted a seminar on Anti-Ragging in the Symphony Auditorium on 1st December 2016, Thursday. The Department of Psychology organized both the programs.
The twin programs were inaugurated by the Palakkad Sub-Judge and DLSA Secretary Mr.Rajeev Jayaraj. Fr.Dr.Joshy V Anthony , HOD, Department of Psychology gave the Welcome Address, Rev.Fr.Dr.Lalu Olikkal, Vice Principal of YIMS delivered the Presidential Address, Mr.Tomy Antony, the Principal offered felicitations and Ms.Neethumol, Asst.Professor, Department of Psychology proposed the vote of thanks. The Head of the Department of Geography was also present at the Inaugural Ceremony. The guests at the function were presented with mementoes.
Mr.Jayaraj spoke about the preventive measures and the free legal protection being offered to women and children.
