The Department of English in Yuvakshetra College commenced its Association Activities in a splendid fashion as the association was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Dr. Mathew George Vazhayil, Director, YIMS in a conspicuous event held on 12 October 2018 at Training Ce
ntre Auditorium, Yuvakshetra campus. Rev. Fr. Dr. Lalu Olikkal, Vice Principal delivered the keynote address in the function. Dr. Tomy Antony, Principal and Ms. Shyjee P V, HOD extended their felicitations. Ms. Vismaya R, Department Secretary welcomed the gathering and Ms. Sangeetha S, PG Representative proposed the vote of thanks. The inaugural function followed an interactive motivational session handled by Rev. Fr. Anson. The department conducted various infotainment programmes like Literatura Questionario 2k18, Drama Competition and Treasure Hunt for the students to make the inaugural day more colourful. All the programmes of the association day turned out to be a colossal success with the active involvement and the team spirit of the faculties as well as the students.
